September 12, 2013 – Cagayan de Oro, Philippines – The Cagayan de Oro ICT Business Council proudly presents the “Next Wave Cities ICT Roadshow 2nd Edition: Bringing ICT Opportunities to Countryside Filipino Talents – CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY LEG.”
The Cagayan de Oro ICT Business Council or CDO ICT started in 2005. It is an official ICT organization in Cagayan de Oro City for BPO Companies and Stakeholders in Cagayan de Oro City.
Their mission is to promote the ICT and BPO sectors in the city. They also ensure that there will be a constant dialogue between the industry and the academe. As an official ICT organization, CDO ICT will be having an ICT roadshow for the Cagayan de Oro talents.
This Roadshow will happen this coming October 24 to 25, 2013 at the Imperial Ballroom of Dynasty Court Hotel. Its main objective is to build a positive image and perception about the IT-BPM industry. It will also clearly explain how the IT-BPM can promote career growth as well as self-employment.
The ICT roadshow is the proper venue for the government, the industry sector and the stakeholders to present and discuss why the IT-BPM sector is one of the BEST CHOICES for entrepreneurship, career development and advancement of workforce in the NWCs.
It’s the RIGHT place and time to let the people of Cagayan de Oro know the importance of the IT-BPM. The ICT will have the chance to expose them to the many possibilities on how IT-BPM can help them and their families – It will FULLY explain the advantages CDO people can have from the IT-BPM when it comes to career growth and employment.

She is known as the “Mother of E-Commerce Law in the Philippines,” she founded the Philippine Internet Commerce Society in 1997. Expect to learn a lot and be more familiar with the IT-BPM world!
The ICT Roadshow also aims to forge a partnership with the private and public sectors. It will provide job opportunities as well as trainings to students and graduates of courses related to IT-BPM through job fairs and seminars.
