The COVID-19 pandemic continues to disrupt the world with deaths, standstill economies, and mass unemployment. The pandemic also resulted in devastating impacts on the lives of people across the globe.
Amid this plaguing crisis like no other, Landbank – Capistrano Branch headed by AVP Ligaya L. Padilla continues to serve the nation. Landbank Capistrano proceeds to intensify the rollout of its products and services when the situation calls for it.
Recently Landbank – Capistrano branch inks a series of agreements between Misamis Oriental LGUs and the DOH-Region X.
The MOA or agreements include ATM Payroll, ATMs or cash points, and electronic salary loans with the LGU in the towns of Naawan, Balingoan, and Lugait. The gradual installation of ATMs was also done from April 2021.
“Despite the confronting risk of contracting the disease, as we (Landbank) anchor our action for the benefit of the many.” Landbank – Capistrano Branch head and Assistant VP Ligaya L. Padilla, CPA said.
“We offered the ATM Payroll facility providing the utmost convenience and mitigated the risk of spreading the virus by reducing physical exposure through ATM/e-Banking platform.” She added.
Amidst the pandemic, Landbank also stressed out that account opening was made via Digital On-Boarding System(DOBS) or batch opening.
Landbank and its workforce continue to commit to raising the bar in the public sector.
