Happy New Year, Higala! Finally the long wait is over for the foodies out there – Pepper Lunch is now in Cagayan de Oro!
Pepper Lunch is a “fast-steak” restaurant that originated in Japan in 1994. This Japanese restaurant aimed to serve quality, fast food without to train a chef for a long time.
Pepper Lunch CDO lies at Centrio Mall, Cagayan de Oro City and is one of over 200 outlets scattered in Southeast Asia. It is conveniently located at the east wing of the mall near the garden. Upon entering inside their store, you will be welcomed by the light and stress free ambiance. The resto is perfect venue where you can bring in your friends and family for a small get together or chit chat.
I know most of us are worried that our food wouldn’t be as warm when after cooking. Pepper Lunch assured us that they are using a state of the art plate where you can continually cook your food, chit chat and eat your food warm. If you’re or your kid is dreaming to be a chef someday, then pretty much this CDO restaurant will be a good place to practice. The diners will get to have their own patented electromagnetic plate which is heated up to 260 degrees celcius in a minute. Wooah! You are guaranteed to have a hot plate while eating your order.
For starters, they would recommend that you take the Beef Pepper Rice (Php 198). If you are not a big “beef” fanatic, you could try their Salmon and Chicken (Php 335) or go with pasta like the Chicken Aglio Olio (Php 228) or their must try Japanese Classics.
Once full, you may take the mouth watering Molten Chocolate Cake (a WOWCDO Recommended) priced at Php 120 good for sharing to a love one. For health conscious people, their Shake Shake Salad priced at Php 99 may satisfy your taste. You may choose from Sesame Chicken, Seaweed, and Spicy Tuna or mostly of Pepper Lunch CDO staff would recommend the Kani.
Overall, it was a sumptuous hot dinner. They really have live up to the expectations of their customers to serve sizzling food, fine steak, plus great value! Burp.
