Dubbed as the convention hotel in CDO during the 70’s and the only hotel with a swimming pool during the circa, Alta Tiera, now known as Pryce Plaza Hotel stands still on top of Carmen Hill. Though of its old structure, we visited the place months ago to relax and unwind. With less expectations from our visit, we were surprised with a few things we discovered and realized. Now, we can conclude that though this hotel is old, it’s still good. We will let the pictures tell you the story.
Secluded from the bustling city life, Pryce Plaza Hotel offers a beautiful panoramic view of Cagayan de Oro and solemnity with the trees fronting the entrance. We even caught a newly wed taking their wedding photos with Pine trees on the background.
The place is not that crowded. If you’d like to contemplate, this could be the best spot for you. During weekends or summer, they also hold swimming classes to all ages.
One thing that caught our attention was their breakfast buffet. With less expectations, we dug in to a mix of Filipino and American breakfast options that filled our empty stomach. We even stayed long and made rounds of full plates. Burp!
