• August 20, 2017 – Kagay-an Festival Marathon at Centrio, Ayala Mall – 3 AM
• August 20, 2017 – CDO Carnival Street Dance Competition from Luna-Velez to Plaza Divisoria – 4 PM
• August 26, 2017 – Miss Cagayan de Oro 2017 Coronation Night – Limketkai Center Atrium – 7 PM
• August 27, 2017 – Higalaay Street Parade and Floats (Civic-Military Parade) from Rodelsa Circle – Velez St. – C.M. Recto Avenue to Limketkai Center – 7 AM
• August 27, 2017 – Centrio Mall Bisperas Fireworks at Duaw Kagay-an Park – 8 PM
• August 28, 2017 – Religion Procession from Fernandez St. – Velez St. – Capistrano St. to the St. Augustine Cathedral – 4 AM
• August 28, 2017 – Fluvial Procession from Macajalar Bay – CDO River to the Duaw Kagay-an Park
• August 28, 2017 – Kagay-an Pyro Musical Festival at the Pueblo de Oro Business Park – 9 PM
• August 21 – 31, 2017 – Higalaay Festival Sale at All Major Malls in CDO
