Cagayan de Oro, Philippines – IdeaSpace, in partnership Cagayan de Oro ICT Council with Xavier University- Ateneo de Cagayan, DEVCON and through Smart Communications, IdeaSpace Foundation, Inc. brings the Technopreneur Boot Camp at Northern Mindanao!
In line with their passion and dedication to promote the spirit of technology entrepreneurship, IdeaSpace Foundation, Inc. will conduct the Technopreneur Boot Camp at Northern Mindanao.
The said event invites all the Students, Professionals, Aspiring Startups, Startup Founders and early Graduates in the Northern Mindanao area to know everything about technopreneurship – from the advanced technologies, the how- to’s on starting technology businesses and other start-up advocacies. It will be held on Friday, December 13, 2013 from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Little Theater, G/F Social Sciences Building, Xavier University – Ateneo de Cagayan.
A lineup of industry experts and startup founders’ hand-in-hand will share their expertise on various technopreneurship topics. In fact, one of the excellent and influential speakers for the event is Mr. Dustin RJ Masancay, the Associate Director of IdeaSpace. He is professionally known in creating real impact in the lives of Filipinos by bringing new opportunities for employment to the base of the pyramid through entrepreneurship and startups.
The Technopreneur Boot Camp of IdeaSpace in collaboration with other technopreneurship advocates is a medium to present to the community level the fact that technology and innovation are the keys to transform ideas into reality.
Through the help of the respected partner organizations, participants of the Boot Camp are treated to a morning filled with technology and business talks!
It will be followed by an afternoon of relevant creation, brainstorming with possible innovative technology ideas that are necessary for commercial success.
The IdeaSpace Technopreneur Boot Camp is FREE! There is no registration fee required. The deadline for the registration for all interested participants will be on December 6, 2013. So, hurry and register now for a once-in-a-lifetime event! In addition, prior to the main event, the organizers of Technopreneur Boot Camp encourage willing participants to submit their startup idea/s. Each participant must be part of a team composed of 2-3 members only. The event organizers will then advise the team to look for a technical lead, a business partner and a web or a graphic designer!
IdeaSpace will do a preliminary round of judging once all the startup idea/s are already in. The top teams who will then present their startup idea/s to the panel of judges will be announced at the event.
Teams will then be given time to brainstorm and pitch their ideas and plans to a group of respected judges. The best ideas will be recognized, awarded and will win cool prizes!
The submission of entries must be on or before December 8, 2013. This is a rare chance to have this kind of exposure, so maximize the opportunity!
