The pre-show will start at 5PM with the yearly Kalo-Kalo Festival, Ms. Kagay-an 2012 Presentation of Winners and the Asian Pop Superstar Christian Bautista.

Eats More Fun in Kumbira
The Cagayan De Oro Hotel And Restaurant Association (COHARA) has once again mount KUMBIRA, an annual culinary competition and show last August 15, 16 & 17, 2012 at the Atrium of Limketkai Center, Cagayan de Oro City. On its 16th year the event has taken a fresh concept promoting fun during the event and strengthening the educational aspect of the show. Kumbira 2012 adopts the theme, “Eats More Fun In Kumbira”.

Agro-Industrial Fair at the City Hall Grounds
City Mayor Vicente “Dongkoy” Y. Emano took a fancy to a bonsai plant on display at the City Hall grounds during the kick off ceremony of the Agro-Industrial Fair, August 15, 2012. Several booths put up by the barangays as well as by private entities displayed agricultural products ranging from vegetables, fruits, plants, seedlings, to dairy produce. Landscaping work were also on display featuring ornamental plants, grass and other decorative paraphernalia. - City Information Office

Art Tsada
After Dibuho - The Northern Mindanao Visual Art Congress last July 2012, this August 2012, Kagay-anons will again witness another art exhibit at the City Tourism Office and it's called "Art Tsada". The exhibit is open to the public with the participating artists doing ‘on-the-spot’ painting demonstrations and workshops during the fiesta celebrations specially dedicated to Sendong survivor children to help them recover from the psychological trauma brought about by the disaster.
