Based from a book, The Vagina Monologues is an episodic play written by Eve Ensler that talks about the female sexuality in all its complexity and gives us the real stories of intimacy, vulnerability and sexual discovery.
VDay Cagayan de Oro 2014 and Pagbantog-Kagayan brings The Vagina Monologues in Cagayan de Oro. All proceeds will go to the VDay Movement against violence on women and girls, and the women’s recovery & livelihood projects for the survivors of Typhoon Yolanda and the Visayas earthquake.
Cast members include Atty.Sam Tan, Ms. Nicole Abas, Ms. Jamie Joy Bantigue, Ms. Greanne Trisha Mendoza, Ms. Arlyn May Baqui Bongay, Xavier University’s Mai Santillan, Princess Acaylar, Chae Rubin (Cherubin) Alagenio, and Capitol University’s Car-lene Dela Cruz.
