Ridge-to-Reef Young Leaders Camp gathers emerging youth leaders from indigenous, post-disaster resettlement and local communities in cities Cagayan de Oro and Iligan. The group aims to educate its youth fellows on the interconnectedness of the mountains, the rivers and the coastal areas in order to promote sustainable natural resources management. With the threats of climate change manifesting more rapidly, the Ridge-to-Reef Young Leaders Camp hopes to become a humble stepping stone in training the future generation to come up with sustainable measures in protecting our natural resources and strengthening their communities to become disaster-resilient. Other than that, Ridge-to-Reef is one of the Seeds of the Future winners through YSEALI program of U.S. Department of State.
