One can never deny that the food options in Cagayan de Oro has been growing exponentially. Recently, Pete’s Patriots, a Filipino Gastropub, has opened along Rosario Strip adding a variety of options in Limketkai Center.
Pork and Beans ala Fabada
Pete’s Patriots takes pride in their mouthwatering Filipino-American fusion cuisine and dishes. One must try their Sous Vide Crispy Pata, their bestseller crispy pata that has been slow-cooked for 12 hours in a revolutionary Sous-Vide machine and then fried to perfection. Sous-Vide is a cooking method in which food is sealed in airtight plastic bags then placed in a water bath or in a temperature-controlled steam environment for longer than normal cooking times.
Other Pete’s Patriots dishes that has been gaining popularity includes the Sous-Vide Beef Salpicao, Sisig Sipa, Homemade Bacon Belly, Steak and Rice Skillet, and the Banana Beignets.
This restaurant is the first Filipino Gastropub concept of its kind in the country which aims to provide the Kagayanon an unforgettable dining experience similar with Metro Manila’s lifestyle bar concept by providing their customers with an unforgettable dining experience each and every time through their mouth watering food, quality service, and edgy ambiance. Pete’s Patriots is on currently on their soft launch. The grand launch will be on April 26, 2016, Tuesday at Rosario Strip. On the same day, this newest restaurant in CDO will also be launching new items such as the “Revolution 15” shot set and more exciting new dishes.
