Operation Blessing Joins Forces with Tulong Sa Kapwa and Capitol University Medical City in Helping Filipinos with Life-Threatening Conditions

Cagayan de Oro – On March 18 to 20, Operation Blessing Foundation Philippines, Inc. (OB Philippines) will conduct a three-day surgical mission in Cagayan de Oro City for poor Filipinos with serious health problems. This is in partnership with Tulong sa Kapwa-Philippine-American Association of Connecticut (PAAC), SHARE Foundation and Capitol University Medical Center. A contingent of 17 medical professionals composed of anaesthesiologists, electrophysiologist, pediatric ophthalmologist, cardiac surgeon, OB/GYN, orthopedic surgeon and registered nurses from the US. Cagayan de Oro continued it economic rise regardless the devastation caused by Typhoon Sendong (TS Washi). The report sent by the Bureau of Local Government Finance coursed through the Honorable City Mayor Vicente "Dongkoy" Emano announcing CDO as the Top Performing City in the region. Sendong Survivors Received 160 More Houses from Fil-Chinese Communities

Philippine Progressive Mason Club, Inc. - a non-profit organization, a brotherhood org and one of the 14 chapters all over the Philippines plays a vital role in our community and one of which is giving out 160 houses to Sendong survivors. The turnover was done last June 8, 2012 at Calaanan, Cagayan de Oro City. They are also targeting to give out 600 houses (160 initially) and the improvement of the alarm system in CDO as part of their calamity preparedness drive. They are also advocates of education and volunteer fire brigades in the metro. Other than that, the org also is active on medical missions and relief operations. Sun Cellular Posts Highest 1Q Growth Rate in Telco Industry
